Incentives

CSU – Pueblo offers a variety of incentives to make your college experience as easy as possible.  The Do It Now Program assists new, accepted students with navigating registration, housing, and financial aid.  We typically open this up later in the spring just prior to the fall semester.  The Jump Start program is a full-time, residential bridge program that teaches students how to succeed in college. Our Summer School Bundles offer an opportunity to earn six to nine hours of college credit over the summer. Our new Tuition Discount  program is for residents of states outside of Colorado.  Essentially, non-residents will receive a discount of up to $6500 off of their tuition as long as they live on campus in one of our residence halls: Belmont, Culebra, Greenhorn, or Crestone.  And, our Graduation Incentive program gives a check for up to $1500 to students who sign a contract and graduate within four years.  All of these programs have been designed to increase access to the University and to promote student successInformation about all of these programs can be found by clicking on the item you're interested in on the left side of this page.

In addition, as part of its role and mission to provide Colorado students with access to higher education, Colorado State University-Pueblo officials announced Thursday a commitment to pay tuition and fees for a significant percentage of full-time Colorado resident undergraduate students beginning in Fall 2011. Colorado Governor Bill Ritter and officials from the Colorado State University System, including Chancellor Joe Blake, CSU-Fort Collins President Tony Frank, and CSU-Pueblo President Joseph Garcia, announced plans to ensure that financial challenges will not prevent any undergraduate Colorado student who is admitted to the university from attending.

CSU-Pueblo’s Commitment to Colorado program is a guarantee that admitted full-time, resident undergraduates with a family adjusted gross income of $50,000 or less who receive a Pell grant will not have to pay tuition or mandatory student fees.
